A Dedicated Team with Proven Expertise to Bring Your Film Vision to Life
Vincent Mbaya began as a stage actor, transitioned to screen, and fell in love with directing and producing on the set of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life. After years as a freelance cinematographer and director on projects like Country Queen and Pepeta, he partnered with investor Francis Mwaniki to co-found New Slate, blending creativity and investment for success.

Francis has always diversified into the creative space, from concerts to investing in musicians, he is a believer in the potential of the space. It was only natural that he partnered with Vincent to build something that brings their skills and resources together.
